Locking entries for editing
Whenever a reaction is modified, it is automatically locked in order
to avoid concurrent changes by other curators, or even the same curator
in a different window.
The lock affects not ony the reaction being modified, but also those
related to it:
- Modifying a reaction locks the related reactions
with the same participants but different directions.
Any changes made to participants in the edited reaction will be
automatically reflected in the locked reactions, whose fingerprint
and textual representation will be recalculated.
- Accepting a compound update or replacing it with another
one (assigning manually a ChEBI ID) also locks every reaction
in which the compound participates.
